Mermaid Tail Bag
I'm all about crochet shortcuts. A way to avoid joining pieces? Sign me up! Not having to weave in ends? Aaaaall over it. So when I took a look at my shark bag pattern and realized that it was only a few tweaks away from a mermaid tail, I couldn't resist.
Peanut Butter Pudding Cookies
If you were stranded on a desert island and you could only have one type of cookie with you, which would you pick? Sure, you could be practical and choose one that's packed with things like oats and raisins or nuts or dried fruit. Personally, I'm gonna say "scurvy-schmurvy" and go with these peanut butter pudding cookies. I might not live that long, but boy will I be happy. Because these beauties, right here, are some of the most amazing cookies I've ever had and I definitely have no problem with eating lots of them.
Hip To Be Square Tie
If I had to pick one motif to be the quintessential crochet element, it would have to be the granny square. It's simple yet beautiful, classic, versatile, and exclusively crocheted. (Side note: does anyone else laugh/cry anytime they see a TV character knitting a granny square?!?) So, as homage to the humble, often under-appreciated granny square, I decided to put it front and center with this fun tie pattern.
