Every week, our family tries to do Family Home Evening (FHE) as part of practicing our faith. It's basically a family night where we have a simple lesson, sing songs, do some sort of activity, and (my favorite part) have treats together as a way to help build a happy, unified family. There are tons of different ideas out there for FHE charts (just ask Pinterest), but they were all a bit too complicated or hokey for my taste. Then I got this great idea from my sister-in-law. It's cute, unobtrusive, requires no crafting, and it's easy to update. My ideal FHE chart. Or, for those of you who aren't interested in FHE charts, this is also an adorable way to make a family chore chart.

Looking for a tail for a Halloween costume or dress up? This crochet pattern can be easily customized to be just about any size you need. I wanted mine to be a tiger tail, but you could also easily turn it into a cat, monkey, dog, or lion tail. Feel free to get creative and personalize it however you want to!
Growing up, my very favorite Halloween decoration was always the bats hanging from the ceiling in our entryway. I loved to watch them sway slightly back and forth. They were super simple but still eye-catching. Now that I'm far from home and starting to make Halloween memories with my own kiddos, I knew I wanted some bats of my own, so I decided to make a few.
I find that life rarely goes as planned, even when you try to prepare for things. I had all sorts of great ideas for things to do leading up to my due date and all sorts of projects to catalog so that I could still post content while snuggling my newborn, but it didn't quite work out that way. My son's extra early arrival while we were out of town definitely threw me for a loop a bit and I had to take an unofficial hiatus. But I'm starting to get my feet back under me, so I'm back! And I've got lots of great ideas for you to try, starting with this fun and easy felt board DIY.
