Whoops, running a bit (okay, a lot) behind schedule today, so I'll keep this short and sweet: it's time for another Cookie Pal pattern! Woohoo! This week's Cookie Pal is the ever adorable Derek the Duck. 

It's that time again! Who's excited to meet the next Cookie Pal? In case you missed the previous weeks, we've already met the bear, the puppy, and the cat. This week we'll be meeting an extra adorable friend: Maxwell the Monkey! 

With a big move for our family looming ahead, I've been trying to be really good about not acquiring any new yarn. Instead, I've been working my way through my yarn stash. To put my partial skeins to good use, I decided to make some beanies to donate, but I had some very specific requirements in mind before I started. I wanted a pattern that was warm, easy, worked up quickly, looked good when made with leftover yarn, had minimal sewing, and was fairly one-size-fits-all. So instead of sifting through all the patterns out there, I created my own! I haven't designed many knitting patterns in my day, but my yarn-lovin' heart says that this one is definitely a winner. 

Who's ready for another Cookie Pal? We've already met Beverly the Bear and Pedro the Puppy. This week's featured Cookie Pal is the one of the coolest cats around (literally): Christopher the Cat! 

It's time to meet our second Cookie Pal! (If you have no idea what a Cookie Pal is, make sure to check out this post first.) Last week we met Beverly the Bear, who was actually the last Cookie Pal I made. Today we're going to meet the very first Cookie Pal I ever designed, way back when: Pedro the Puppy!
