Halloween Treat Bags

10/5/2020

Halloween will be here soon, and like most things this year, it's looking a little different than usual. We're still evaluating options and looking to see how things are going when we get closer to the actual date, but we thought it might be prudent to brainstorm some plan B options. One idea is to have a candy hunt at home (think Easter egg hunt, minus the bunny). So I thought it would be fun to crochet some Halloween-themed treat bags that we can put candy in and hide around the house. Originally I was going to make them super cute, with all the adorable details...until I remembered that it's 2020 and ain't nobody got time for that. So I went super simple on these. There are a couple of cute details, but they're all crocheted on as you make the bag itself with no extra sewing involved. Whether you're hiding candies or just giving out treats to someone, these little Halloween bags are the perfect quick project.

I originally made all of the designs in the larger size, thinking that it would hold a couple candies. Then I actually got my hands on some candy and remembered that I'm absolutely terrible at judging sizes. So then I designed a mini version that actually holds 1-2 candies. The good news is that you can benefit from my atrocious size estimation skills and have patterns for both sizes!

These are super easy and work up quickly! Made them for Trunk or Treat 2020. I am using this pattern to make Valentine's candy pouches now for my church family using red and white glittery yarn . The pattern works well for making a large quantity in a short period of time! Thank you for publishing this!

Different times these folks (and young ladies Im certain) would improve to recollect that somebody is out there perusing these profiles and attempting to gather an initial feeling. Everything without a doubt revolves around promoting yourself-cautiously. Saying youre near your family amazing. Conceding youre a mommas ki not a turn on.
